About This Wiki
What this site is, how we label facts we cannot confirm, how we handle your data, and the rules of use — all on one page.
Who we are
9 Kings Wiki is an independent, fan-made wiki covering 9 Kings, the roguelike kingdom-building deckbuilder developed by Sad Socket and published on PC by Hooded Horse (the mobile version is by Playdigious). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sad Socket or Hooded Horse.
What we do
We collect information from official sources (Sad Socket's Steam news announcements, the Steam, Epic, GOG and Microsoft store listings, the App Store and Google Play records), from the community wiki at 9kings.wiki.gg, and from player discussions, then rewrite and organize it into plain-English pages. Every page carries a fact-check date, a status badge and a sources list.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong? Tracking pages — release information, the mobile launch, the platform list and anything patch-related — are re-checked regularly. Corrections are applied with a new fact-check date.
Three labels, used literally
Every fact on this site carries one of three labels. This is not decoration — it is the whole editorial method.
- Official sources — published by Sad Socket or Hooded Horse in their own news posts, store listings or official channels. Safe to rely on.
- Partially confirmed — confirmed in part, or reported by a credible third party but not on a first-party page. We state exactly what is known and flag the gap.
- Pending confirmation — the developers have not announced it. We say so plainly and explain what would change the answer.
What we refuse to do
- We do not invent card effects, perk numbers, unlock conditions or tier rankings. If no source exists, the page says the information does not exist yet.
- We do not repeat stale wiki data as current. The best-known example: the claim that only seven kings are playable was true on launch day in May 2025 and has been false since the King of Time update in October 2025. All nine kings are playable.
- We do not print card stats. The deck rework in Patch 0.9.5 (July 2026) changed many cards, and most community tables still show pre-rework numbers.
- We do not link mods, trainers, save editors or grey-market keys. The multiplayer ladder makes save tampering a real risk, and our mods page is policy only.
How to read a caveat box
Pages where a claim is genuinely uncertain carry a Read this first box immediately below the summary. That box is the fastest way to know which parts of the page are solid and which are waiting on Sad Socket.
Data we collect
This is a static website. We do not run accounts, comment systems, newsletters or forms. No personal information is collected by the site itself.
Cookies & analytics
We use Baidu Analytics and Google Analytics for aggregate traffic counts. Google Analytics may set its own cookies (such as _ga) to measure usage; neither service identifies individual visitors to us. Third-party embeds may set their own cookies — see below.
Third-party content
Pages embed or link to third-party services, notably YouTube video embeds and store pages. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you interact with them. Video embeds load from youtube-nocookie.com and only after you click.

Use of this site
Content is provided for informational purposes "as is". We work hard to keep facts current and sourced, but an early-access game changes quickly — always verify purchase decisions on the official store pages.
